: As part of its support strategy for Regional Economic Growth Projects,
the Ministry of Knowledge Economy has been assisting industries
that lead regional economies since 2009.
Jeju has been known for its eco-friendly,
high value-added “water” resources and “MICE” industry,
which have earned considerable support from the Ministry.
As project organizer in the development and promotion of the MICE industry,
the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Tourism Association is doing
its best to turn the island of Jeju into a green, resort-oriented center for MICE
worldwide. Accordingly, the association is actively exploring and
supporting new teambuilding products and programs that target clients
interested in incentive tours and other MICE participants.

In pioneering the development of FIT infrastructure and programs in Jeju, Yeha has revolutionized the local tourism industry by helping it change its outdated focus on package tour programs. As a current PCO specialist, Yeha organizes a variety of MICE activities and provides incentive tour programs for numerous companies in Korea and abroad.
